About the Pastor
Kathern A. Thomas is Senior Pastor and Founder of Worshippers Interceding For Excellence Church whose mission is to educate men and women of the things of God in order to win souls for the Kingdom, change lives, heal hurts and restore hope. She was ordained November 15, 1992 and has served the Lord with faithfulness and joy over 30 years.
Pastor Thomas' compassion, for others who are struggling in their walk with the Lord, inspired her to write "Celebrating Celibacy," a book that speaks to singles about living a holy life. She is also the author of "Private Hell Public Ministry" and "Celebrating Celibacy Devotional Journal" All books may be purchased on this website.
A native of Chicago, Pastor Thomas. She has appeared on the television show, Metro Cafe', and has appeared on various other TV/Radio stations ie., WATC-TV, Atlanta Live, Channel 57, Atlanta's Praise 97.5, WYZE Radio, WAEC, Love 86. Pastor Thomas was host of "Living To Please God", WATB-Radio and co-host of WAEC's "Total Restoration" radio broadcasts. Pastor Thomas has been guest speaker at many churches in Atlanta and various other states.
She is founder and creator of the annual "Called To Be A D.I.V.A." (Divine, Inspirational, Victorious, and Anointed) Women's Conference which speaks to the hearts of women through empowerment, encouragement and inspiration.

This is a ministry where the gifts of the Holy Spirit are in operation. We are making disciples by teaching them to love, respect, and obey God and to live their lives in accordance with biblical principles.
